Verify the internet connection

The internet may be a potential source of issues if you are encountering unexpected behaviour with the display.

It is essential to ensure that your internet connection is stable and functioning correctly.

An analysis of your internet connection can be conducted using the Visible Console.

Follow the below steps : 

  1. With the remote control, press on the "Return" arrow button or "Home" button.
  2. Open "VISIBBLE CONSOLE"

  3. Click on the "Diagnostics" tab

  4. The diagnostics then start. Ensure that every checklist is marked in green.
  5. If there is a failure, there may be several cases:
"Is the local network connected"
Nothing to report. Internet cable or WIFI connected
X Connect the Internet cable (RJ45) or WIFI
"Is the public network connected"
Nothing to report. Device can access the Internet
X Check the router
"Is the DSS server connected" Nothing to report;
X No impact on your device internet, but can be useful for remote control. Contact your sales representative
"Is the message server connected" Nothing to report
X No impact on your device internet, but can be useful for remote control (console).

Additionnally, you can refer to the "Network" tab :

This tab allows you to obtain network information such as the MAC address and the IP address.

  • Wired network: Connection by cable (RJ45)
  • Wireless network: Wireless connection (Wi-Fi)
