A factory reset can be executed if significant and recurring problems are observed on VM screens.
The procedure takes about 10min and can be done by following the instructions below.
HOW TO DO IT ?
- Using the remote control, press the "Home" or "Return" arrow button.
- On the Android menu, click on "Settings"
- Click on "System"
- Press on "Advanced"
- Select "Reset Options"
- Then "Erase all data (factory reset)"
- Confirm the factory reset
The screen will then delete all the applications and restart by re-downloading the last firmware installed (not the last firmware released but the last one installed on the screen).
The screen will return to landscape orientation by default.
